EMCOR Group, Inc. Subsidiary Awarded Contract To Expand And Upgrade Largest Sewage Plant In Palm Beach County, Florida

NORWALK, CONNECTICUT, July 9, 2015 - EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, industrial and energy infrastructure, and building services for a diverse range of businesses, announced that its subsidiary Poole & Kent Company of Florida, was awarded a contract by the City of West Palm Beach, as agent of the East Central Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility Operations Board, to expand and upgrade the largest sewage plant in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Poole & Kent Company of Florida will be responsible for expanding and upgrading 22 structures at the existing sewage plant, which work will be performed in phases to minimize the disruption to the existing operating treatment facilities. The scope of work includes construction of new sludge storage and thickening facilities, as well as new thermophilic and mesophilic anaerobic digestion facilities and new centrifuge dewatering facilities.  Poole & Kent will also be responsible for the construction of a new septage/fats oils grease receiving station and new odor control facilities, as well as all associated ancillary components such as electrical, instrumentation, plumbing, HVAC, and civil site work.
